Today, the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review had two articles about commercial redevelopment in Pittsburgh. Apparently, Walnut Capital, a company that I considered renting an apartment from last summer, is negotiating to redevelop the old Nabisco building in East Liberty. You can find the story here. And in more news about the redevelopment of Fifth and Forbes, Madison Marquette will not submit a plan for development of the area. That leaves two local firms submitting plans.
