Commercial Development News today …

May 11th, 2006 · No Comments

The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review covered the announcement by UMPC about developments in the Baum-Centre corridor.

Mosites, Inc. also discussed its plans for the Eastside project in East Liberty.  Current plans include a Walgreens, a Starbucks, a PNC Bank, a Borders, a spa, and a wine store.  More information from older articles on the Eastside project and the East Liberty revival can be found here, and here. And the East Liberty Development Inc. website is worthy of following, providing information about their ongoing efforts.

In other news, it looks like Penn Hills is trying to attact a redeveloper for the former Atlas Cement plant and Gascola slag dump.
