Public comment period on casino location ends Friday
If you have a dog in the fight, you’d better get your comments over to the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.  The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review indicates that Hill district residents are especially being courted by the casinos.

Stores sign in Station Square
According to the Pittsburgh Business Times, The Palm Bar, American Country Collection, Home V.O.I.C.E.S., and Hometowne Sports for Her are all moving into Station Square.

Church to Ligonier?
Developers are working on approval for a nondenominational church in Ligonier Township, according to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.

Jeannette Zoning Changes?
Jeannette is considering altering zoning in the downtown business district, according to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.  The meeting is June 7.

EDIT: Trader Joe’s confirmed its East Liberty location today, reports the Pittsburgh Business Times.

    I grew up in Southern California, and Trader Joe’s is high on my list of “What I miss about my old home”. Right after family and that real good Mexican place. I hope “Joe” puts one in Memphis sometime.
