Looking forward to the rest of June here at Pittsburgh Homes Daily

June has started out well here at Pittsburgh Homes Daily.  I awoke this morning to notice that my little corner of the earth was mentioned on Grow-a-brain’s growing list of real estate blogs yesterday.  So welcome to all Grow-a-brain readers!

Looking back over the last three weeks, I’ve noticed that alot of my posts have been more about commercial real estate activities than about “pittsburgh homes.”  And while that is certainly part of learning about a community, I didn’t set out to create a blog about commercial activity in Pittsburgh.  So for the next 30 days, in addition to posting the news and my thoughts on developments in Pittsburgh such as the coming casinos and the fifth-forbes redevelopment, I am going to try to profile one neighborhood in Pittsburgh every day.  It should help me as I try to pick an area that I am interested in over the next couple months, and I hope it proves valuable to you as well.  I’m working on the first post now, and it should be ready later today.

Thanks for the great article (Shadyside example) on the various neighborhod(s). I’ll look forward to them and link to them from my wiki, Platform.For-Pgh.org and its section, CLOH - Come Live Over Here.

Next tip — how about a feature on a ‘house concert’ — something we’re jazzed about for tomorrow. And, it is ‘full.’ This is our 2nd this year and I hope to hold more and more.
