The New York Times has a story about a couple in New York City, but it might as well be a family from Pittsburgh.  They bought their dream home and have worked for seven years to fix it up.  I’ve already got my fixer upper in Pittsburgh picked out (though I probably won’t buy it because I’m not looking to do THAT much work), and I bet many of you have at least thought of it at some point.

If you are ready for your 15 minutes of fame, you might want to give Donald Trump a call.  He’s got a show in the works that is rumored to involve contestants buying dilapidated properties and fixing them up.
