Around Pittsburgh this Weekend

October 12th, 2006 · No Comments

The 2006 Washington Arts and Heritage Festival will be running for the next three days.  On Saturday, there will be tours of four historic locations: the Lemoyne House, the Washington County Courthouse, the Washington Train Station, and the David Bradford House.  You can read more about the festival in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette article.

According to the fall foliage report at Fall in PA, this weekend should be a great weekend for admiring the changing leaves.  If you’re willing to drive to see the beautiful views, you might plan a trip to one of the fall festivals around Pennsylvania this weekend: the two closest are the 42nd Annual Fall Foliage Festival in Bedford, PA and the Flaming Foliage Festival in Renovo, PA.
