Pittsburgh has taken a step in the right direction to end the inevitable confusion over building permits with its new website titled, Guide to Permitting for Land and Building Improvements.

It’s got some excellent looking charts, like this one:

And some that don’t appear so easy to use: Notice the full diagram in the left hand side and the blow up on the right.
