I expect that there will be a big party in East Liberty tomorrow. Trader Joe’s is opening its store on Friday at 9 AM in the old Wheeler’s Paint Store after much anticipation. There won’t be any wine, but I don’t think shoppers will be whining about a store that could drop prices in grocery stores around Pittsburgh.

It’s another step in the story of the revitalization in East Liberty.
