Allegheny County shed houses priceless antique

October 27th, 2006 · No Comments

There are a number of campaigns going on to enhance the reputation of Pittsburgh around the nation.  I think we’re going to need a new one:
The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported today that a priceless antique victorian bed once occupied by Abraham Lincoln as he made his way to Washington for his presidential inauguration was found in a county maintenance shed “in the eaves.”

I’m feeling reassured as to Allegheny County’s fiscal responsibility.  How ’bout you?
