While the hot story on real estate right now is that the median price for new homes in the nation dropped the largest amount in 35 years, the average price of a home sold this year in Pittsburgh is up 3% from last year and the number of sales is virtually unchanged.  Check out the numbers in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
