On the heels of the news yesterday that US Airways selected Pittsburgh to host its operations center, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette is reporting that nuclear engineering firm Bechtel has bowed to pressure from Hillary Rodham Clinton and Charles Schumer and will only be transfering 70 jobs to Monroeville (rather than the expected 260).
One step forward (plus 150 jobs). One and a half steps back (minus 190 expected jobs).
