One step closer to lower property taxes for homeowners with declining home values.

Homeowners in Allegheny County whose property value is now lower than the value assessed by the county in the base year system are one step close to getting relief. According to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, the Wilkinsburg couple received a favorable ruling in their lawsuit seeking to appeal their 2006 property taxes.
